Omar Hussein
Omar was born and raised in Hebron, Palestine. He moved to Puerto Rico with his family at the age of 10 and started his martial arts journey, being inspired by the UFC video game.
At 18 years old, Omar moved to California to chase his dreams. He spent significant time training at Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, California. He was coached and trained by UFC superstars Uriah Faber and Cody Garbrandt. Omar competed for various organisations in California before signing with Middle East-based UAE Warriors.
He made his professional debut in 2017 at age 21 with an impressive KO victory in round 1. After impressing the promoters, he signed with UAE Warriors based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Professional Fighters League based in Washington, D.C.
In 2021, Omar made his Bellator MMA debut against Logan Storley on Bellator 258, which took place May 7 at Mohegan Sun Arena.
2023 will be a significant year for Omar, with fight contracts locked in with UAE Warriors.
