Joel was born in Melbourne, Australia. He has crafted an impressive and successful career as a professional boxer and attained his secondary teacher qualifications (Qualified in Physical Education, Health and Psychology).

At 15 years old, he walked into a Kickboxing/Muay Thai gym for the first time and instantly fell in love with the art of combat sports. 

 

Boasting a record of 25-8-1, Joel’s professional boxing career has hit some incredible highs.

In 2018, he had a remarkable year, picking up the

Super-Welterweight Victorian Title and the WBC Asian Boxing Council Welterweight Title, earning him a number two ranking in Australia’s fiercely contested Welterweight Division.

Another title in 2019, this time the Australian Super-Welterweight Title, earned him a number four ranking in Australia and a top-100 world ranking in the Super Welterweight Division.
